... a student of yours reading a sentence "Dad, the cashier is over whore." Way more disturning than the other one who pronounced Bob "Boob."

I'm in such a happy mood today!

1- Yosso has finished beta-ing my Bastard!Xander fic! It was weird writing Xander as a depressed jerk, abusing Spike and his friends, but I had so much fun with this fic. It's my favorite so far, along with the Xander-Wesley one.

2- I'm re-reading Oliver Twist again. I've read it when I was in fourth grade and the part where Sikes shoots Nancy was the most disturbing thing I've ever read. I remember last week when I watched the movie I've pressed mute when the scene came and closed my eyes. But they cut the part where he kills her, probably never filmed it, I was relieved and disappointed at the same time.

3- While correcting my students' exam papers, almost all of them got full marks. It makes me so happy.

4- My boyfriend didn't make fun of my chicken-phobia. (I finally decided to share that embarrassing fact)

I'm starting to love my job.

But it still hurts when a student cries because she didn't get the full mark in a quiz... I cry inside.

One of my students today looked exactly like Xander in Empty Places in the hospital scene. I was so freaked out when I saw the white patch covering the area where her left eye is, almost covering half of her small face.

Farah: Sarah, what's wrong?
Sarah: No big deal, teacher. A pen entered my eye. Will take this off after a week.

But God, every time I look at her I wince. Poor kid. She's a favorite of mine because she's one of the few who only speak English in the class the whole time, even if it's not good. The majority? I have to yell at to speak English because they love to annoy me.

OMG!! I'm the youngest English teacher over there! Eeek! That's so wild. Anyway, I'm gonna teach fourth grade… aww! They made me choose between first, fourth or sixth grades. I chose fourth because I really don't wanna teach six year old kids, they're just so young, and I'm not standing there yelling, "A for Apple, B for Banana…etc!" And sixth graders need someone with a strong personality, and that's so not me. The in between is always the best.

Anyway, I'm gonna tell stories and teach grammar and new words. Oh, and I'll be singing songs, I'm gonna be the new Maria Von Trapp.

I met teachers closer to my age and they all told me that it's gonna be hard at first but then things will get easier. Sigh. Hopefully after a decade I'll be teaching high school kids, because I'd love to teach grown up subjects. Right now let me boss these kids around and teach them how to pronounce R correctly.

On Monday I'll head to the school and go under the test, I'm gonna teach a class... but with grown ups observing me while writing scary thoughts about my teaching skills. I got all my sister's stuffed animals and practiced. But I'm so scared, if the class's full of kids, I'd be far at ease... hope it goes well...

On other news, I just finished reading a Spuffy fic. No, Mera, there was not that many Xander in there... Mera? Mera! Oops, she's in a coma. Yes, Carla, I'm not alright, I just read a SPUFFY with few Xander moments, and no Spander friendship... there is surely something wrong with me. Why did I do such a dreadful deed? The title and summary sounded funny, and since lately I've been reading a lot of dark Spander and Xangel, I needed some funny fic, NEVER thought it'll be Spuffy!!! Oh, well, it was a fun fic to read, if you wanna read it, here:

Just A Teenage Crush by Addie Logan
Summary: After Buffy's day from hell thanks to the Geek Trio, Willow decides to "help" by making Buffy forget she ever died. And—big surprise here—this goes terribly, terribly wrong. (Less angsty alternative to season 6; goes off canon following "Life Serial.")
